If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded localisation data (EXIF GPS). Visitors to the website can download and extract the data from images on the website.

How long we store your data for

If you write a comment, then the comment and its metadata is saved indefinitely. This is done so we can recognize and authorize any subsequent comment automatically, instead of adding them to a moderation queue.

For users who sign up to our website, we also save the personal information that they add to their profiles. All users can see, edit or delete their personal information at any time (with the exception that they cannot change their username). The website administrators can also see and edit this information.
